One of the most common questions we get asked is 'how much will it cost?' The honest answer is that it depends on what you're getting rid of and how much there is — but here's a realistic breakdown based on our 2026 pricing.
Single Item Collection
A single item like a mattress, sofa, or washing machine typically costs between £40-£80 depending on the item and your location. This includes collection from any floor, loading, transport, and proper disposal at a licensed facility.
Quarter Van Load
Around £80-£120. This covers a few items — maybe a small bedroom clearance or the contents of a shed. Equivalent to roughly 2-3 cubic metres of waste.
Half Van Load
Around £140-£180. A typical bathroom renovation's worth of waste, or a good-sized garage clear-out. About 5-6 cubic metres.
Full Van Load
Around £200-£300. This handles most single-room clearances, a full kitchen rip-out, or a substantial garden clear. Our vans carry approximately 10-12 cubic metres — more than a standard skip.
Full House Clearance
From £400 upwards depending on the property size and contents. A two-bedroom flat typically runs £400-£600. A three-bedroom house with garage and garden can be £600-£1000. We always quote after seeing photos.
What Affects the Price?
Volume is the main factor. Weight matters too — rubble and soil cost more than furniture because of disposal charges. Access difficulty (flights of stairs, narrow paths, no parking nearby) can add to the labour time. Location within our coverage area is factored in but rarely a deal-breaker.
