FAQ
QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED A LOT
How much to remove a sofa?
£40–£60 for a single sofa depending on size and access. Two-piece suites are usually £80–£100. Add a small extra if it needs disassembly to get out of the room or building.
Do you take mattresses?
Yes — single, double, king, super-king. Mattresses go to a licensed disposal route (they can't be tipped at standard transfer stations). Around £40 for a single mattress, £50 for a double.
Can you take a fridge or freezer?
Yes. Fridges and freezers need special handling because of the refrigerant gases — we take them to a licensed WEEE facility where they're processed correctly. £45–£55 per unit.
Will it go to a charity?
Where possible, yes. If a sofa or wardrobe is in good condition we'll get it to a local charity — Glasgow has several that take furniture donations. We can let you know where yours went if you'd like.
Can you collect from a flat?
Yes — flats are fine. Tight closes, no lift, top floor — all standard for us. We bring two people and the right equipment. Just let us know which floor when you book so we can plan.
